I'd be interested to know what Richard -- now Mushtaq Ali al Ansari -- thinks about this video today.
I suspect he wouldn't think much of it.
From what I know of Mushtaq, he'd carve Marc like a Thanksgiving turkey -- you want white meat, or dark? -- and none of those defenses and theory would slow him down.
There isn't any good way to deal with a guy who knows how to use a knife if you are barehanded, except to -- in the words of Monty Python -- Run away! Go look at the Piper guys, or serious FMA and silat folks. Ask them what they think about Marc's vid ...
